12 PHYSICS 6. Superposition of waves

Image
12 PHYSICS     6. Superposition of waves Wave motion:- The vibratory distribution in the particle of the  medium is called wave . Various types of waves is being observed by us in our day to day life e.g. water waves , sound waves , light waves , mechanical waves, electromagnetic waves etc. Mechanical Waves:- Mechanical wave is a disturbance produced in an  elastic medium due to periodic vibrations of particles of the medium  about their respective mean positions.  In mechanical waves energy, and momentum are transferred form       one particle to another, there is no transfer of matter or particles of the medium in which the wave is travelling. Mechanical wave required material medium for their propagation. Mechanical waves are of two types i) Transverse and ii) Longitudinal  Electromagnetic Waves :- Electromagnetic waves are those waves which do not require any material medium for their propagation. They a...

PHYSICS11 4.Laws Of Motion

PHYSICS11  Chapter No 4.Laws O f Motion Newton's first law: Statement every inanimate object continuous to be in a state of rest or of uniform uniform motion along a straight line unless it is acted upon by an external unbalance force. Newton second law: statement The rate of change of linear momentum of a rigid body is directly proportional to the applied (external unbalanced) force and takes place in the direction of force. Newton's third law statement To every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction. Inertial frame of reference Inertial frame of reference is a frame of reference in which Newton's laws of motion are verified. Non inertial frame of reference A frame of reference in which Newton's laws of motion are not verified. Kinematics In Which motion describe without it's cause. Dynamics In Which motion describe along with its cause. Contact force The force experienced by a body due to Physical contact is called contact force. Non contact ...
