  💧5. पाण्याची बचत – शाळेपासून सुरुवात १. प्रस्तावना पाणी हे जीवनाचे मूलभूत घटक आहे. मानव, प्राणी, वनस्पती यांचे अस्तित्व पाण्यावर अवलंबून आहे. मात्र, वाढती लोकसंख्या, औद्योगिकीकरण आणि पाण्याचा अपव्यय यामुळे पाण्याची टंचाई निर्माण होत आहे. अशा परिस्थितीत पाण्याची बचत करणे ही काळाची गरज आहे. शाळा ही समाजाचे प्रतिबिंब असते, त्यामुळे पाण्याच्या बचतीची सुरुवात शाळेपासूनच झाली पाहिजे. २. विषयाचे महत्त्व • पाणी वाचवणे म्हणजे पर्यावरणाचे रक्षण करणे. • भविष्यातील पिढ्यांसाठी जलसंपत्तीचे संवर्धन. • शाळेतील विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये पाण्याबाबत जागरूकता निर्माण करणे. • पाण्याचा अपव्यय टाळून शाळेचा खर्च कमी करणे. • स्वच्छता आणि आरोग्य टिकवण्यासाठी पाण्याचा योग्य वापर. ३. प्रकल्पाची उद्दिष्टे शाळेतील पाण्याचा वापर व अपव्यय याचे निरीक्षण करणे. पाण्याच्या बचतीसाठी उपाययोजना शोधणे. विद्यार्थ्यांमध्ये पाणी बचतीबाबत जनजागृती करणे. शाळेतील पाणी वापराचे प्रमाण कमी करणे. पावसाचे पाणी संकलन यासारख्या उपायांची अंमलबजावणी सुचवणे. ४. प्रकल्प कार्यपद्धती • शाळेतील नळ, टाक्या, स्वच्छतागृहे, ब...

Apparatus Required Potentiometer, driver cell (battery), rheostat, galvanometer, jockey, given cell, key, voltmeter (optional), connecting wires. Principle A potentiometer works on the principle that the potential drop across a uniform wire carrying steady current is directly proportional to its length . Mathematically: V ∝ l or V = k l where: V = potential drop l = length of wire k = potential gradient (potential drop per unit length) Theory When a steady current flows through a uniform potentiometer wire, the potential drop along the wire is uniform.
