Apparatus : L.D.R. , filament lamp (16 V , 3W) meter scale, D.C. Power supply , Digital multimeter  (DMM) Result: The intensity of light is inversely proportional to the square of distance.

  Aim: To determine refractive index of Glass by total internal reflection. Apparatus: glass slab, plane white paper, laser pointer ,geometrical instrument box. Result Value of refractive index n = 1.33

  Melde’s Experiment Aim :- Arrange the tunning fork for parallel position. Take two different reading by changing the tension and keeping the length of String constant. Write your conclusion. Apparatus : Electronic vibrator , a light in extensible string ,pan , Fractional weight box ,etc. Observation :- i. mass per unit length of string = m= 2.03 x10-3 g/cm ii. Vibrating length of string =l =100cm. iii. Mass of empty scale pan= mo= 3 g. Result 1) As tension in the string increases no. of loop on the string decreases

Second’s pendulum Aim : To determine the length of second’s pendulum App: metal sphere (bob) , inextensible string , retort stand, meter scale , stop watch, vernier calliper. Formula :  Observation: Radius of the bob= 0.9cm ,  Period of second’s pendulum Ts= 2 sec. Observations for period oscillation T= period Length of second’s pendulum =  Result : length of second’s pendulum= L s =103.24 cm
